Getting Around:
Getting around Elm House Cottage is easy. Parking is available directly outside the property. For those arriving by train, the nearest station is Penrith, approximately a 20-minute drive away. From Penrith, you can access local bus services to reach High Hesket. If you're flying in, Carlisle Lake District Airport is about a 30-minute drive. Taxis and car rentals are readily available for exploring the Lake District and surrounding areas.

Well behaved pets are welcome. Please be aware that pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, left in the house alone in the property for long periods of time. Their mess is to be picked up after them in the garden.
Noise - Particularly in the evenings and in the garden, please be tolerant of our neighbours, who are largely also drawn to Cumbria’s natural beauty and peace, and also include working families with young children.
Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs - not a wheelchair-friendly property.
