"Stayed 3 nights at Sela V hotel in Brooklyn. Superb property, Very unique that It’s a renovated industrial warehouse that has been repurposed into a super bougie boutique hotel. I checked in virtually which meant that upon arrival I had my room key in hand and was in my room within a matter of minutes. The check-in guy was very friendly and they acknowledged my special occasion with a complimentary drink each at the bar and a bottle of procession in the room, thank you! I stayed in the foundry room on the seventh floor, the room is super spacious. The furnishings was of a high-quality and the high Ceilings and mood lightning throughout were considered and made the room super cozy despite its size. Customer service at the downstairs bar could be improved, The bar lady who served my husband when purchasing a morning coffee practically barked at him when he wasn’t sure how to make payment! Other than that all interactions with staff were great, professional and it would be a delight to come back to this hotel again when I visit New York City. The hotel is within easy walking distance to DUMBO the NYC Ferry and all areas of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Thank you Sela V"

"It has a real unique and awesome decor staff was super friendly at 11pm food available in the vintage diner cafe area 24hrs . But the rooms can use some upkeep for instance the sliding washroom door wasn't sliding The rooms were really clean though And directly in terminal 5 was a plus"

"We had a great stay. The staff are exceptionally friendly. Free bottled water at reception was appreciated. The doorman was great! Very minor stuff: The hotel is old so there are a lot of creaks and noises at night. The a/c makes a terrible sound if we turned it down a degree so we kept the room a bit warmer than we liked but none of that impacted our stay in any meaningful way. Great location! Would stay here again for sure."

"The staff at reception were always so cheerful and helpful. The view from the city view rooms are incredible, and such a short trip into manhattan via subway. Only slight negative was that there were a lot of black hairs kept appearing on the pillows, sheets and towels, and on the bathroom floor. Not a major issue but could be a little cleaner / in-depth clean from housekeeping."
