"It’s a beautiful property and the Expedia perks are great! You get 25% off spa services which we really enjoyed and we also got upgraded to a much better room in the unique section. The rooms and grounds and even the restaurants are beautifully designed. The pool and waterpark are great. It’s a great place to go with kids. We went with a bunch of friends and their kids. All kids had a blast. Our kids went to the beach just once, they were very happy with the waterpark. The beach was great and perfect for little kids. The cons are, most staff can’t speak English so if you don’t speak Spanish it can get a bit hard. 2 restaurants Gondola and La Boheme had terrible food. Also the reservations to restaurants seem counter intuitive on what’s supposed to be a relaxing vacation. Everyone should be able to get a table if they wish to visit. Having to wake up early or stay up late to get a reservation isn’t fun. Also they can totally improve the towel situation. There aren’t enough chairs at the pool but I guess it’s a common problem during spring break but running out of towels is not excusable in my opinion. The check in staff were great ! Most of the staff we encountered were kind and nice and work so hard. We had a lovely vacation. I think the overall experience can be vastly improved with a few changes. "

"During my stay, I encountered several issues. The beds had no proper blankets—only small covers that couldn’t be used for warmth. The couches were so dirty that it was unpleasant to sit on them. The corridors hadn’t seen renovations in a long time, creating a neglected atmosphere. Lastly, the room wasn’t cleaned daily, which added to the discomfort. Overall, these issues significantly impacted my experience."

"Property is beautiful, staff is pleasant and helpful. Location is great. Only issue I had is day of check in @4:30pm my room wasn’t ready. But we were able to walk around the property and the amazing views by the beach and pool. Main problem was after I was told our room was ready, they did not have the room I booked. 2 adults with 4 kids they tired to give us two separate rooms not connecting which would not work for us. To try to make it better, they gave us 3 connecting rooms. The area and condition of these rooms were not great at all. No hot water, no ice machine and just out dated. Completely ruined my daughter’s 16th birthday. Which was the very first night! We lost time which was frustrating. We then had to wait for the next day to get our original room which was great but major inconvenience to our travel plans. "
