「This is a lovely place in a fabulous location. The room is attractive, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished. The garden is restful and the outdoor shower is delightful. The host is friendly but also gives space for privacy. Best of all, Manini Beach and Sunset Point are two blocks away in one direction and a kayak rental place is two blocks away in another direction. 「Amazing sunsets, beautiful secure gated property, close to Kona airport, Costco and Kailua, yet quiet and away from tourists. Door handle is tricky, so just pull handle up instead of pushing handle down after entering code. Higher elevation, so cools off at night making sleeping very comfortable. Sometimes you hear kids thumping around upstairs. Coqui frogs and murmuring ducks provide lovely nighttime orchestra. Bed is comfortable. Host very responsive to needs and may sell you tasty farm fresh...

「Hosts were nice, place was very clean and so close to everything. I wished we had an extra night here so we could use the snorkel gear! I loved the patio area - saw a beautiful sunset. It was also perfect for morning coffee. The only thing I would suggest is the host should have turned on the fans since the space was quite warm when we arrived. The decor was nice - felt old school. There were five of us, all adults, and there was plenty of room. 」

「We had a fantastic stay. The location was great as it was just off Ali'i drive and we were able to walk to restaurants and shopping. The view from the upper balcony was fantastic. I was able to view whales swimming by. We had everything we needed to make some meals and even had some amenities for our trip to the beach. The host was responsive when we had questions or concerns. Overall we had a very nice trip, and would recommend this place for small families to stay!」
