"I hate to say it, but this was not a great stay. The location is fantastic, check-in was easy, and there was an entire fridge in the room. Unfortunately, it's old and badly in need of major renovations. Very uncomfortable, squeaky bed. Stained bedding. Interior is falling apart. And I could hear every footstep and word being spoken by neighbors. I guess there's a reason it's cheaper than everywhere else in the area. But not worth it, in my opinion. "

"Great, easy space to stay at for an overnight at the coast. Room was just finished being cleaned when we arrived at check-in time, but it was very well cleaned and smelled great. Everything was well stocked and in good working order. Lots of bathroom toiletries including toothbrushes and razors. Kitchen well equipped with plates, glasses, mugs and silverware, coffee and tea. The bathroom in this unit is a tight squeeze to get in and get the door closed and to move around freely in, so it might be a bit challenging for larger folks and it is definitely not accessible for folks with mobility devices. The fold out bed in the living room was easy to access and comfortable. There were covers to use on furniture for pets. Nighttime was quiet. The beach is just a couple of blocks away, but down a pretty steep set of stairs so carrying equipment down is not ideal. Easier to take the quick drive up the road to Happy Camp and access the beach for a day trip there. Overall, the beach is the gem of this little town. Quiet and vast, low current and lots of fun beach combing treasures to find! The Market around the corner is stocked with everything you could need, including fresh Indian food, fishing supplies, burgers and even breakfast sandwiches! We also had dinner at the Schooner down the road, which was incredibly delicious!! Overall, absolutely recommend this as a landing spot for anyone needing a reasonably priced, clean, pet friendly place to stay in Netarts/Oceanside area. "

"We live in the woods and can't see our neighbors, so when this house popped up, I knew it was "it." And I wasn't wrong. The house is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked (nonstick pans that were still nonstick!). The elk were in the field as we pulled in, the egrets were out in the estuary the next morning, red wing blackbirds trilling away...heaven! Our favorite part was when we opened the slider to use the hot tub the first night and we were hit with a wall of FROGS!!! Okay, frogs croaking, not actual frogs coming in the door. It was amazing to soak and listen to them. I just wish it had been warmer so I could have enjoyed my morning coffee sitting on the deck.This is the perfect middle spot--we went down to the Newport Aquarium one day, and up to Astoria another day. The one day it rained all day, we headed to the Tillamook Pioneer Museum and the Tillamook Cheese Factory and Blue Heron with dinner at Werner Beef & Brew (if you're looking for the actual "best clam chowder on the coast" it's there...you're welcome).Anyway...thank you SO MUCH for sharing your home. It was the perfect place to spend spring break."

"Very close to the beach & Schooner, a local bar and eatery. Awesome house. Fun beds downstairs, it was a bunch of guys so it was fun to hang out. Good kitchen. Great place fun! Comfy beds and good bathrooms. "

"We had a great stay overall. It is a relatively old house, but in a very good shape. Spacious and very comfortable for four adults and three kids, though it does not have the vibe of a luxury rental. Heating was very efficient, great and good size bathrooms without hot water problems. Only improvement I suggest is that the pots and pans are scratched or very old and need to be replaced. The dishes and glasses can benefit from a review and replacement. There were no place mats and/ or table clothes. If this can be addressed, it would make the place a top notch destination. thanks "
