Less than 1 kilometer as the crow flies from the legendary Croisette, lies the Croix des Gardes park. A true bubble of nature, it is the ideal place to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, go for a walk and play sports. With our sneakers on, let's go discover the natural treasures of the green lung of Cannes.
Dominating the center of Cannes, the Croix des Gardes hill watches over the city. Classified as a Sensitive Natural Space, this park is a precious reserve for Provençal fauna and flora. An unmissable natural heritage that we can't wait to explore.
From the first steps in the park, we are charmed by this typical vegetation. Pine forests of umbrella pines, scrub of various varieties, mimosas… These 80 hectares of forest are so many promises for our eyes and our sense of smell.

Through the botanical trails, we discover the arboretum which brings together more than 40 varieties of mimosas. It is one of the most beautiful mimosa forests on the Côte d’Azur and a real delight for the senses!

Among the many assets of the Croix des Gardes park, there are its viewpoints. As we gain height, we gradually discover the magnificent landscapes of the bay of Cannes, the Lérins islands but also the surrounding mountains such as the Estérel massif and the Pre-Alps. This 360° panoramic view around Cannes is a unique experience that deserves a good pair of binoculars. Note for next time!
