Place is gigantic. Not big, gigantic. Property is well maintained. Waterpark, pools, bowling alley, and mini golf all a hit with the kids. The food for being an inclusive was pretty good. Only bad meal was the grand buffet for dinner. However, their breakfast is excellent. Beach is terrible. It’s so bad you don’t even want to go on at all. We were there for five days and did not spend any time on the beach and we are beach people. Also I felt it was understaffed. Could be because of the size or because of the week we were there.

High pressure sells pitch while checking in. Then non stop phone calls and had to unplug phone. Same on checkout, but some 299 deal which was an initial price. Our privacy light was turned on without us knowing and never received service or towels after first day. Had to get bottled water from gym. Flight experience was bad too. Was double charge 460.00 for luggage with 5 hours of calls and messages and still not refunded.

It’s a beautiful resort. The rooms and beds are so comfortable. Nice little touches like a nespresso machine and a few snacks in the room. The terrace is big and beautiful if you have a garden view room. Lots for kids to do. We were in the grand and the water park is fabulous. Their special event nights aren’t widely advertised so look for those on the app. They are fun and have a ton of food. Fun to watch the little coiti animals every evening. About 25 of them walked right outside our terrace grubbing for food. Speaking of food, it’s hard to get reservations. Do it the minute you can on the app. Grab as many as you can the minute you can. The buffet food is just ok. The circus is fun with kids but the food is also very iffy. The Philly cheese sandwich from the kids menu is good and the pasta with shrimp is good. The fish and chips is TERRIBLE. The cafe is great to grab coffee and a dessert. It gets very crowded. Stop at the spa and grab coffee or a great iced coffee. Many people don’t know about it and it’s great they have cookies and granola bars and special bottled drinks to grab. If you have resort credit, do a treatment of some sort at the spa and take full advantage of the aqua facilities. You can go early and use those. We had several ppl in our group get a massage and I got a facial. It was amazing. They are otherwise very overpriced but with the resort credit, it was a good price for the quality of the treatment. The ocean is t that pretty cancun blue.

For a huge, inclusive property, it was great. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend Grand section over the other two (Sunrise/Nizuk). It’s newer, better restaurants, beach, etc. workout facility is great and so are pools.

The place was beautiful food was amazing, everything was good till it came to the pitch, they wouldn’t leave us alone kept trying to sell us, till we finally bought a certificate just to realize that night when we were about to use it to book our next trip, that it wasn’t the 60% off that they had told us it was.

Good breakfast buffets and options. I like that there are lots of different pool options with very different vibes (activity pool, family pool, adult's only pool, etc.), but the only thing that would make it perfect on the pool scene is if there was a main large pool similar to Nizuc or Sunset. Maybe the resort was just thinking that if people want that vibe, then they can just go over there, but obviously not quite as convenient to get over there although honestly not too hard with the gold cart situation. I don't know, as I just typed that out, maybe that is fine to go over there if you want the large pool scene. We did go to Surnise for one day, but we were over it pretty quickly given the crowd type and the much lower quality of service (staff to person ratio very low vs The Grand, which makes sense since The Grant is more). Food quality was pretty good, but not at the level of a resort like the Majestic which always ranks very high in food quality. That said, as long as you book reservations for dinner, you'll be happy at most of the places.

Staff were great, rooms were nice. We were concerned about food safety but we all did fine and had everything including sushi and salads. Desserts were really good. Each property has a different vibe with Sunrise being most party-like and The Grand most little kid friendly.

We have an 11, 9, and 4 year old. So much to do on the property. Plenty of restaurants, pools, and events. We had a great time, it was my kids favorite trip. The property is quite large, which we enjoyed walking so was a plus for us. I would book your dinner reservations as soon as you can to ensure you get your ideal dining times.

This resort offered literally everything we could ask for from good food, great service and so many things for kids to do. Only thing that could be worked on is having more dedicated lanes for walking. Property has to many golf carts running around.

We had a wonderful stay at the Moon Palace Grand. The food and service from staff were definite highlights. Lovely staff and so many options to choose for eating. The pools were so great and the pathways to walk everywhere were fantastic.

Beautiful grounds. The rooms are so beautiful and comfortable. The food isn’t as good as I was expecting for this resort. Circus restaurant is fun for kids but do not get fish and chips. It’s terrible. Everyone says, it’s fun but the food is bad. Why doesn’t the MP fix that? The spa is a little hidden place to grab coffee much quicker than the cafe. The cafe is amazing though. Sadly, the water isn’t that beautiful cancun water. We moved over to hotel zone to stay another week. So worth the beauty of the ocean on this side. The hotel is very beautiful though. They have some nights that are fun where you can eat outside. They do not advertise it very well. So much wasted food but we missed one totally because we had reservations and didn’t know about it. Check the app a lot. We went to a live country night that was super fun. Fun activities for the kids. I wouldn’t go to sunrise pool if you are at the grand. It’s sooooo crowded. Not worth it at all. Beware of the people as you leave. They try to high pressure you to buy a half price hotel for a future visit. They will not leave you alone. Overall, it was a beautiful stay and everyone had fun.

The property and service staff are great. However, be prepared for extremely aggressive sales staff trying to sell you memberships thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars. This was our first time at an all inclusive, and we had barely been there for 12 hours, and one sales person was trying to sell us 100 weeks of future holidays at their resorts. When I explained that we weren’t willing to commit to 100 weeks or even 50 weeks of future holidays because this was our first time at an all inclusive resort and does not fit into our usual holiday practices (mostly ski trips in the winter) he became angry and condescending. Frankly, we found the experience pretty unprofessional and definitely not what we would expect from a luxury resort. Ultimately, after speaking to another salesperson, we did buy a much more limited membership product that does fit with our holiday patterns and is not a material cost for us, but I would urge other travellers to not feel bullied into buying anything. They dangle a few hundred dollars of free tour tickets in front of you and tell you that there will be no pressure to buy anything, that it will only take an hour, but the truth is that they put an enormous amount of pressure on you (through multiple people) and the process will take all morning. If you have absolutely no interest in these membership products then do yourself a favour and just pay for the tour. It’s not worth wasting a half day of your holiday.
