"The Hotel is very clean and the staff were terrific! There was construction going on outside of our room, so that’s why we marked it as good and not excellent as far as cleanliness. Otherwise it was perfect! The only bummer was that it cost $30.00 to park each day and when we got our email about what to expect it said mandatory valet. Hotels.com did not say anything about that, so we were really thrown off when we read that. Thankfully we were able to self park but we still had to pay the $30.00. We will definitely want to stay there again, but hopefully they change thier parking arrangements once the construction is over with."

I went to the bar during happy hour the day I arrived and got a couple of drinks and food. Was charged full price but when I mentioned happy hour they fixed it saying that happy hour went away, despite it being on the paper I was given at check in 30 minutes prior. The rest was a good experience overall."

Why cant a Motel invest a little in more comfortable covers and blankets?? We loved our stay,it was convenient to any stops in Tahoe. The xtra room was great as well. Totally worked for our trip. And ty to Sheryl at the front desk for the great trip suggestions. We enjoyed Hope Valley and Virginia City!! Great choice of Motel, no frills but cozy"

"Holly's place is a great get-away. We were there at the end of September for 7 nights in the Tisher Cabin. The bed was very comfortable and big screen TV was great. The TV is connected to a Roku player so you can watch streaming shows. The bathroom and shower were on the small size. I'm 5' 10" tall and 190 Lbs so it was tight in the shower stall. No big deal since we did not spend a lot of time in there : ) The staff was very friendly and was concerned that everything was OK. It is a very quite area and you do feel like your at a campground. Having a gas fire pit was great and there are things to do for adults and kids on the property. The common area room is really well stocked with kitchen utensils. Waffle makers, toaster oven, blender, a full size stove and fridge etc. The sitting area had very comfortable couches and chairs and a large screen TV. There are a lot of really fine restaurants close by and it's a 7 minute drive to Heavenly Village. It's a 10 minute walk to Lake Tahoe and a 13 minute walk to El Dorado Beach. We will definitely return if in that area."
