This place was perfect! We stayed there one night before our cousins bridal shower since we are from PA and it really is a hidden gem! They really went above and beyond! Highly recommend staying here. Right by the water and walking distance to restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again! Hosts were great and very responsive when I had a quick question!
The place is tucked away on the upper floor of a business near boat piers and a cool old church. Head up the stairs and you are met with a really nice apartment, with interesting decor, very clean, well laid-out, and with very spacious bedrooms. We had a nice and comfortable stay (including good beds and pillows). Be advised, though, that there are some sloped ceilings upstairs and tricky stairs to the upstairs bedroom suite, so it's best to be careful not to trip or bump your head (as I did once).
We had a lovely stay during a recent work trip to Cambridge. Lisa was very accommodating and helpful when we had to reschedule our trip initially. The loft is so cozy and well equipped, and walking distance to all the town has to offer. I highly recommend!
We enjoyed staying in the loft. There are some steps so if you have trouble walking steps, I wouldn’t recommend the loft. However, we didn’t mind. We would stay there again if we ever past through there again
Everything was very good. we really enjoyed our stay and may reserve again in the future depending on my aunt's health whom we came to see. The only issue we had was the people who not only came to our door but walked into the apartment looking for a physical when we forgot to lock the door. maybe better signage would help. All in all, it was a great stay!
The place was nice, clean, cozy, and comfortable. The bedrooms were so spacious. I loved that Lisa, the host, provided a lot of useful items for the stay (laundry detergent, towels, bedsheets, hand soap, even shampoo and conditioner, etc.). Lisa put a lot of thought and care into the place. She was also very responsive when I had questions and contacted her a few times before the stay. There were many places to visit nearby and within driving distance to entertain our kids. It was a great stay!
We enjoyed our timeAt the Loft. It is a clean and comfortable second story large apartment near downtown Cambridge. We were able to walk around the neighborhood. Loved the coastal decor. The kitchen had the basics so we were able to make some meals but also enjoy the local seafood. They provided many resources like brochures and books to reference about the area. They provided coffee and tea. The Loft felt like home. Bonus charm: The church bells across the street play a short selection of hymns twice daily.
It was a beautiful home base for us and we enjoyed it so much! It was in a wonderful location for us to explore Cambridge, everything was within walking distance for us to explore. My only suggestion would be to provide ice cube trays (we looked and couldn’t find any!) since there was no ice maker in the freezer! In this day of everyone carrying water all the time, ice is important when filling those bottles and cups. But still a wonderful home to rent! Thank you!!
