"This is a lovely, roomy flat above a café by the side of the canal. There is a great view from the entrance over the canal and surrounding fields and trees, and the balcony is brilliant. We loved the silence too - no noise from roadsanything. The hosts are friendly and helpful"

"A lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. A dog friendly garden with beautiful views. Fully equipped cottage with all you need. Good walks on the doorstep and Oswestry not too far away for all your amenities."

"Beautiful house. Lovely bedrooms. Great space in the lounges. Fabulous space for kids to play in the garden.The water supply stopped at least once a day...told possibly air in the system pumping from the well. Kitchen had no storage for food that we bought ; fridges were lacking several shelves and all the door storage in the big fridge was removed. We had to wash all the mugs and some cutlery before use. Oven door didn't close properly on the one oven that worked properly, as the seal was broken. The few oven trays that were provided needed cleaning before using. Feeding 16 people for the week was challenging with no storage and lack of working oven space. Beds very comfortable and plenty of towels provided. Was great to get away with family and all enjoyed the hot tub. "

"A very informal AirBNB in enormous family home. Hosts were very friendly, informal and keen to help. Full Breakfast was fabulous - I haven't seen a Hostess Trolley since 1983 and the croissant and granola yoghurt were lovely! Bed was very cosy and view from window stunning. Short walk or drive up to the rocks. On the negative side, en suite shower/loo/sink is very small and some of its finishes could be quite a bit better. Renovation is obviously still a work in progress, especially outside. Driveway is steep and very bumpy near the gate. Overall a pleasant and relaxing one night stopover, but would perhaps expect a higher quality finish for the asking price."
