Pourquoi pas mais sans insonorisation

La réservation n'avait pas été reçue mais sans conséquence chambre dispo. Personne à l'arrivée. Pas de réponse au téléphone. 5 à 10' d'attente que la personne arrive. Emplacement tranquille et possibilité de garer le véhicule devant. Établissement propre, en état. Mais insonorisation défectueuse : le moindre pas d'un autre client ( au dessus ou à côté s'entend comme si la personne était dans votre chambre), idem pour les WC et la douche. Pas d'activité restaurant. Heureusement, il y en avait 2 ouverts dans le village, a proximité, de bonne qualité. Rapport prix/prestation élevé. Si on compare avec celui l'hôtel de la veille :Olivi1948 à Usurbil, même prix mais la prestation est nettement au dessus (cadre, reception et accompagnement, chambre, petit déjeuner). L'intérêt de cet hôtel : proche du téléphérique de Fuente Dé pour qui veut faire une randonnée en montagne.

Request for refund

We did not stay there because the information in the site was that this place is 6.1 miles from posada de valdeon which is misleading and since no one in the hotel could communicate with us in English when we called. Therefore we told the hotel that we want to cancelour stay and wish to obtain refund if we were charged. We are hoping that hotel. Com will take a good care of this issue. Dina

Excellent, helpful and welcoming staff. The room was very comfortable and the only negative thing I have to say about the hotel was that a few light bulbs needed to be replaced! Beautiful surrounding area and great for hill walking. The restaurant provided a varied selection of local food for dinner and breakfast.

Return visit was wonderful

Despite the ferry being delayed by 3.5 hours, then a 4.5 hour detour on the roads we were greeted very warmly by the family owners of the hotel when we finally arrived at 12.30am. Immediately we were offered drinks and refreshments which was a wonderful welcome. This set the tone for our stay - nothing was too much trouble, the friendliness and helpfulness was excellent. Breakfasts were excellent with copious amounts of pancakes and coffee. Food was plentiful. Our room was spacious and with a balcony overlooking the village. We used Espinama as a base and travelled out most days but managed to have a couple of lazy days to enjoy the village. We are looking forward to our third stay

Un cadre magnifique, un accueil et un service chaleureux. Une chambre spacieuse et propre et bien aménagée. Point noir : c'est très bruyant, les bruits des voisins (chasse d'eau la nuit, portes etc...) ne sont pas du tout étouffés.
