"Rooms are nice and homely reception staff are friendly and welcoming.
Restaurant is exceptional not overpriced and food was great a good selection of options and staff are helpful."
"Perfect place to stop over for one night for the recent Radio 2 in the park gig. I was travelling solo so I didn’t really get to check out the amenities as I just needed a bed to stay in for the night.
It’s clearly an olde worlde hotel which must have seen lots of swish parties over its time, it’s a little bit dated in areas but tbh I thought it was perfect for what I needed.
The room (211) was clean and the bed was comfy and I even had a tiny view of the mountains through a gap in the building!
I slept well & enjoyed the tea and coffee.
My only downside was that I couldn’t get wi-fi at all in my room. I tried a million times but no luck.. I think the room was in a blackout area, I had to sit on the stairs to ring my dad!!
Also, going back down to the car park late at night there was no light in the corridor so I had to feel my way outside!
However, I’m not going to end on a negative note. Overall my experience was really positive. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful & the location was right in the middle of Stirling so I’d def recommend it as somewhere to stop over briefly!
I’d definitely choose to stay here again when I return to Stirling. Thank you to all the staff.
Naomi :)"
"The property was very clean and centrally located to everything in sterling. All the staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only small thing that could be improved on is the lighting in the room and bathroom. There needs to be a light over the bathroom mirror. Overall this was a great place and I would stay there again."
"This was our first time staying at Crieff Hydro and we will definitely be back! Every member of staff we spoke with during our stay was helpful and well-informed. Excellent facilities (my partner and I utilised the Victorian Baths and the Adventure Park - thoroughly enjoyed). The food was a highlight for us both - would highly recommend people eat in East. As someone with dietary requirements, I was particularly pleased by how knowledgeable staff were about coeliac disease and the lengths to which Crieff Hydro went to to ensure my needs were met. Our only complaint would be the bed could have been comfier (quite a hard mattress) but otherwise very happy with our stay."
"The room was fabulous with a big comfortable bed. All the staff we met were friendly and very helpful.
We were travelling with our dog so couldn’t eat breakfast in the main restaurant but we ate in the tavern instead which was lovely and quiet. We could pick from their menu or order anything from the main restaurant including the buffet too.
In the evenings we ate in La Vista and again took our dog, the first was great and again we were well looked after.
My only negative would be the cost of bringing our dog at £50 per night which is very high compared to other hotels on our trip and the very long dog policy we needed to sign on arrival which we’ve never come across before. As responsible dog owners we always clean up after our dog and would expect to pay extra in the unlikely event of damage."
