It’s truly as beautiful as the photos. And what a cool trap door (you’ll have to go and stay to see what I mean ;-). "When booking this hotel, we knew it wasn't in the city center or close to major sightseeing spots. However, upon arrival, we were still shocked by the location: it is situated in an industrial zone rather than a residential or commercial area. Aside from the poor location, everything else was fine, especially considering the affordable price we paid."

"Excellent pool area beautiful view and a great walk into town - not that far but a steep hike walking back which we enjoyed - you could opt for the bus which is free if you stay more than 2 nights but we didn’t need it and walked in and out of town twice per day. It was a lovely room, view, pool, breakfast with great parking - very lovely and we would stay again!"

We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"The room was clean but under the bed was very dusty. A handle fell off the door to the balcony. Reported this to reception and it was repaired the same day. Two lights not working in the bathroom. Staff friendly and helpful. Level of English good when required. Air conditioning excellent. Parking good. Free in the sun. We paid for underground secutr parking. Good breakfast buffet."

"Overall, our stay at the hotel was okay. The buffet breakfast was excellent, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, we had some minor issues. We expected more from a four-star hotel, perhaps because we’re not familiar with Italian hotel practices. For example, they only provided body wash, so we had to buy our own shampoo. The air conditioning wasn’t cold enough, making it difficult to sleep if you prefer a chilly room. Still water is only available on the ground floor. While they made our beds every day, they didn’t change the bed linens, which wasn’t a problem for us since we usually take a bath before bed. However, if you prefer daily bed linens, this might be an issue."
