「Lovely staff,food& room」

「The hotel has a great location in the middle of Glossop. Very handy for all the local shops, bars and restaurants. What really makes this hotel so good is the friendly and helpful staff, they cannot do enough for you.」

「The Pilsley Inn is the quintessential English country side experience. The room was thoughtfully appointed and way bigger than expected. Cozy bed, nice linens and thoughtful touches everywhere. The staff were delightful, each and every one of them. And the food…omg, the food! So good! We wish we booked more than one night!」

「Very friendly service but the room was cold and when we asked for heating it was only turned on for an hour so was cold again in the morning. Door to the bathroom didn’t shut properly and the handle was half unscrewed.」

「Excellent stay here. Room had comfy beds and large bathroom. Delicious breakfast every morning. We ate in their pub each evening and thoroughly enjoyed both meals. Staff is very friendly. Laura is the best!」

「Lots of accommodation option in separate estate cottages attached to the pub」

「Clean, comfortable with pleasant, helpful staff. A welcome pack/folder would have been nice. Good to have iron and ironing board provided. A few more hangers perhaps and a more comfortable chair!」

「Our room was very nice and comfortable.」

「Very clean and nice room! Everything was very modern and easy to use. Only problem is no fridge or microwave, coming from Canada I’ve learned this is a norm in the UK to not have a fridge or microwave but I wish they did have one! The bar had a good atmosphere and staff was very helpful!」
