"The staff was so kind and friendly. The room was nice. I would have liked a microwave in the room. Parking wasn’t great. The hotel parking lots were full, so we had to park down the street about 1/2 a block and then get up and move the car by 9:00. That wasn’t super convenient, but we were glad we didn’t have to park on the street. "

"High Class stay. Wish sound was more dampened. Food and views was excellent. Pool and amenities are top class. The cleaning, bellboy, valet are all top class and deserve raises. Management needs to cater more to all experiences. 8.5/10. Recommend, but treat all patrons like they belong."

"This is a very old hotel. Rooms are dated, sheets are scratchy, mattresses worn in, TV is dish network with no streaming or guide, lobby coffee is taken away once a few guests finish the carafe, and gym is teeny. Hallways and doors are noisy with guests slamming doors at all hours of the night. Street below is noisy, too."

"Staff was very welcoming and helpful from the moment we walked through the doors. Every time we left the hotel and came back, someone at the front desk always greeted us. Self-parking was easy. We had a queen sized bed. Shampoo, conditioner, body gel, hand soap, and lotion all had the same great scent. Towels were luxuriously thick and absorbent! It did take the hot water a few minutes to heat up during the day (we ended up turning on the water while getting ready to shower), but it wasn’t an issue at night. The AC control was an older box with a knob that we weren’t quite sure worked? but it was always a comfortable temperature in the room, so we didn’t need to bother with it. The bedding was as comfortable as I remember when I last stayed here in 2022. I LOVE that they have a water refill station in the lobby with options for still, fizzy, and hot! They even had yummy decorated cookies out in the lobby one day. The water bowl for pets by the front door was a cute touch. We noticed that they rented out bicycles and while we didn’t do that, it’s something to remember for next time! Downtown Portland is the most bike-friendly area I’ve witnessed. Tipping for housekeeping can be done via QR code on a card that is left in the room- yay technology! Don’t forget to use your welcome drink coupon. Overall, it’s lovely place to stay and I will come back for my third stay, and all future ones! (Oh! And the breakfast downstairs in Bottle + Kitchen was great!)"
