Excellent experience

This was a lovely, cozy space for my granddaughter, her husband, and myself to stay while at Jekyll Island for a wedding. It was clean and well maintained. I had no trouble finding the location, and it was a lovely, quiet neighborhood. I hop to go back to Jekyll Island later in the year and I will definitely stay at Grace's Getaway if it's available. Overall, I had a wonderful experience and highly recommend Grace's Getaway to anyone looking for a lovely place to stay on the island.

Away from the snow and ice

We were looking for a quiet place to relax, ride bikes and walk the beach. This was the place. We had visited but only for one day last year. Came back and truly love the island. And yes, there are bugs but you can avoid them in a number of ways. Wind helps. History here is fascinating too. Being able to walk to two nice restaurant was a plus.

Looks just like the photos and location is accurate. Mostly clean, just a couple improvements needed. Windows don’t lock. Sand all over kitchen table and children’s beds. Sand on our quilt in master bed but thankfully not under sheets. Greasy handprint on headboard on bed. Ants on countertop coming from above the kitchen sink. Decent amount of hair in bathroom drawers. Just needs better cleaning and window lock fix. This place was cute and close to the beach!

Charming Cottage Getaway for Anniversary

My wife and I wanted to get away to Jekyll Island to celebrate our anniversary. The pictures do not do this charming duplex justice. As soon as we arrived, my wife shrieked with delight and remarked on the owner's taste. Personal touches were evident. And, so tastefully done. The street was quiet and we felt we could not have chosen a better place to have vacationed. Everything was newly renovated. Even though we were there to enjoy the beauty of Jekyll island and the complimentary bicycles helped us enjoy the outdoors, we could not wait to return to our rental each day. We did experience a small snafu with the internet and never could quite determine how to access the wifi but it did nothing to take away from our enjoyment. Thank you for your home. It was a blessing.
