Whether you're sipping coffee on the porch, casting a line from the dock, or cruising the nearby waterways, Live Oak Cottage is your peaceful retreat on the Georgia coast.

Bringing Your Boat? We’ve Got You Covered!
Just 1.8 miles from the Blythe Island Beach Drive boat launch (with another ramp on Park Street), getting on the water couldn’t be easier. Once launched, you’re welcome to tie up at the shared dock for the duration of your stay.

Plenty of Parking
There’s ample space for multiple vehicles and a boat trailer, all within a gated entrance that offers both privacy and peace of mind.

The Setting
This home is part of a serene 12-acre property with just two residences. Your rental includes the Live Oak Cottage (the white house), full access to the land on that side of the driveway, and shared use of the dock.

Dock Details
While the dock doesn’t currently have water or power, it’s still perfect for tying up your boat or enjoying a quiet sunset. Please use only the inside floaters, reserved for guest use.

The property also features The Sunny Cottage — a cozy 3-bedroom, 2-bath home just steps away, ideal for extended family, friends, or anyone looking for a little extra space to relax.

Excellent Location

This property is close to the surrounding islands (St Simon, etc) and Savannah. Great for day trips and site seeing. Also excellent for fishing from the dock.

Great Space

We booked this home for my work crew. The home allowed them each to have their own space, we also stayed in this home for the duration of the project we were working on. The homeowners allowed us to extend our stay more than once to meet our needs. The property was beautiful, allowing for a relaxing evening after a long day.

The most beautiful sunrise

The house was very clean and well put together. The privacy and scenery were amazing. There was plenty of room for everything, but not too much. The location was great! It was just minutes from everywhere we needed to be.

Wonderful house and dock

This was the perfect place for our annual Guys Trip. There were 7 of us and the house had ample room for us all. The dock was winderfull and not too far a walk with the spacious back yard. We had good luck fishing off the dock as well as seeing the dolphins and manatees in the mornings. 10/10 would reccomend staying here.

Amazing!!!

Everything you'd want in a vacation home. It was clean, up to date, and the location was perfect. Our family really enjoyed the dock. We saw dolphins, a manatee, and a sea turtle. On the 4th we sat out there and watched fireworks from all around. We would highly recommend this house.
