"The room was very clean and very quaint, but also very quiet. Room five has a lovely bathroom the only thing that very slightly let it down was the shower control isn't thermostatic so slight pressure variances from other rooms do cause the odd cold shock moment. Food is good and there's an interesting choice of beers."

"Mabel's Cottage is fabulous. The views of Roughtor over the lake are stunning. The cottage has everything you need and is spotlessly clean. We wish we could have stayed longer to really appreciate it. Hosts, John and Wendy were very helpful and made us feel really welcome.
