「Accommodation clean and tidy. Keys a little hard to find at the beginning for entry as there are many 'front porches'. In a nice area with mountain views and easy access to Whinlatter and Keswick and surrounding area.」

「We had a wonderful five-day stay at Tawny Cottage in Portinscale in mid-May. The cottage was spotlessly clean, very cosy, and it was such a lovely touch to find the heating already on when we arrived. The kitchen was exceedingly well equipped, which made self-catering easy, and the beds were very comfortable, so we slept really well throughout our stay.

「We had a wonderful stay in this cosy, quiet cottage with plenty of space and everything you needed. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked but, you will need to bring any essentials salt and pepper, oil, etc. very nice pet welcome pack and packs of welcome with tea and cleaning items. There is a village shop nearby and several pub restaurants. There are a number of great walks on your doorstep from easy to more challenging without needing drive.. A beautiful area to explore so...
