「I ended up at Camp Deforest serendipitously, but it was one of the highlights of my trip! This beautifully renovated motel from the 1950s has a summer camp theme that's the perfect blend of nostalgia and whimsy. So much thought was put into the design; anywhere your eye lands there will be something cool to look at. The rooms were super comfortable, adorably decorated, and absolutely spotless. And the staff was awesome, too! I was traveling solo, and both Zach at checkin and Joe the next morning...

「The breakfast was just muffins, granola bars, eggs in a bag, small juicebox, and a pastry. A hot breakfast would be preferred. The bathrooms in the rooms are extremely small and there is no water pressure.」

「The main problem during our stay was the noise. The walls are extremely thin — we could hear everything, even the people in the next room using their microwave. We were placed between two rooms that seemed to be traveling together, and they partied and slammed their doors throughout the night. By 3 AM, we had to ask them to quiet down. 「The rooms are marked as “Non smoking” but that is not the case. We were placed on ground level floor and the smell of cigarette smoke was unbearable, we were switched to another room which was unfortunately not any better. 」

「For the price, can't beat it. Rooms were good, plenty hot water, clean. Attached restaurant was better than i was expecting (pizza and shrimp appetizer). Free airport shuttle with parking was also what I was looking for. I would recommend this place to anyone.」

「Booked a stay to celebrate my wife and I getting married - we booked an executive suite at what we thought was a nice little hotel outside Bangor, Maine. I even called on 3/18 to confirm we would be able to bring our dog, as it was unclear online whether the room was pet friendly or not. I was told it was - but when I called to confirm our check-in time the day of our stay, I was notified that was actually not the case.
