Well worth the money

Stayed for four nights. Convenient location. Building and courtyard incredibly clean. We were upgraded to a suite which gave us plenty of room. Staff helpful, room clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the fire pit in the courtyard was turned off for the season. Weather was nice enough to sit outside each night after sightseeing and a fire would have been nice. Victoria at the front desk is an absolute asset to this location. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

Decent hotel but a lot of night activity

The staff was very nice and the hotel and accommodations were alright, but it was very loud and seemed to be a lot of overnight activity. There didn't seem to be any sound insulation and as a result we heard people coming and going out the back exit and noise in the hallway all night.

I enjoy talking with front desk. Very personable. Breakfast choices are good. Coffee was delicious. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for being pet friendly. Didnt like that expedia.com sold me a pet friendly hotel room at the Holiday Inn but when I arrived there was a 30 dollar pet fee. FYI, the following night I stayed at the Quality Inn, they do not charge their customers an added fee.

Not a great experience. We were double charged at the time of check in and told there was nothing they could do so I am still waiting on a refund on a second night we never asked for. We were also in town for a concert and were told there was a shuttle service, so we reserved it and went down at the designated time before being told it was “actually unavailable” so we had to get an uber and arrived late to the show. Not great!
