「We received a very warm welcome from hosts Jackie and Rob and our stay was absolutely exceptional! Our room was clean, neat, well appointed, with a refreshments tray including lovely homemade cake and the folder containing menus and directions for the nearby pubs for meals was well thought out and presented. 「Clean and tidy room. Warm corridors but air conditioned rooms, which worked well in my room. Staff friendly, lift noisy, car park not the easiest to find. Google maps directions to it are inadequate.」

「The hotel was extremely busy, there was really loud fireworks later in the evening which really disturbed my younger daughters sleep. Also the room in proximity doors were banging close so overall a very noisy hotel. An expensive stay for a noisy hotel」

We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size). 「Lovely hotel nice rooms and really comfy beds. Breakfast was really tasty plenty of choice and really tasty. Evening meal was disappointing the lasagne overcooked and dry, the hunters chicken had been kept warm for so long the bbq sauce was congealed we waited an hour for our food to arrive. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again but would find somewhere else for our evening meal」
