Absolutely stunning, tranquil view from Viewtopia! This was such a lovely and spacious cabin and we enjoyed our stay very much. We would definitely return in the future.
Hosts were very nice and answered all my questions fast. The place was very clean, beds comfortable, and had everything we needed for our stay. View of the lake was great!
This house was perfect for our family of six adults and two children. The kids really enjoyed the basement playroom. Super clean, comfortable beds and fully equipped kitchen. And the view is incredible. We’ve stayed in several Vrbos and this was the best yet.
We loved the property and the view was amazing. The host was extremely communicative. The king beds were so comfortable. The amenities were really nice. We didn’t end up using the hot tub but they kept it heated and ready so you can use it as soon as you arrive. Enjoyed the ping pong table, foosball, and fire pit. The skyline trail was a very short walk away which was really convenient. We walked the trail east to the river which was a great payoff after a very hilly hike.
We spent the majority of our time on the covered porch just staring at the million dollar view, seriously! The house was perfect and clean on arrival. The location was remote enough for a peaceful getaway but close enough to grocery stores and restaurants. It's on our list to visit again!
Wonderful view that can't be beat and great cabin amenities. Whenever we were at the cabin we spent our time on the back porch relaxing and enjoying the view. At night we enjoyed the fire pit, ping pong, and cards at the massive dining table. Lots to do in and around the cabin. Beautifully decorated. Only suggestion would be to update some of the kitchen cookware, pots, pans and cutting boards. Can't wait to stay again!
First Family Vacation with grown kids and their family
The property was amazing!!! Everything we needed and more!!! Loved the comfy beds. All the comforts of home with a beautiful view!!! We were in need of nothing. Just a short drive to the river for a swim and fishing. A very restful place to stay!♥️♥️♥️ Already planning to come back.
Such a beautiful cabin and the views are beautiful. There was five of us and we had tons of room. Loved the video games, foosball table and ping pong in the basement was fun! Also had uno, skip Bo, battleship, and other games. Very short drive to kayaking and food and things to do. There was two wasps in one of the rooms but home had spray thankfully to kill. You are after all in the middle of woods and it was to be expected. Would highly recommend this cabin and will definitely plan another trip here. I would give it more stars if I could!
Overall it was an amazing house. The views of the lake are definitely the best part. I'm not sure the house is great for elderly individuals though. The stairs going to the upstairs could be difficult and my husband (6'3) hit his head pretty hard going up them the first time. The stairs going downstairs are even worse and my in-laws didn't even attempt those. My children however (8 & 10) loved the stairs going downstairs and the ping pong table and arcade machine. If you plan on doing the Skyline trail I would say DON'T unless you are an experienced hiker. Me and my husband (40 years old in good shape) attempted the hike and didn't make it. We saw several other hikers throughout the trip that also succumbed to the trail. This of course has nothing to do with the house, just wanted to let future renters know because we didn't! If you want a view of the lake from your house there are only a few options in the area and this one was definitely worth it for us.
This is a beautiful 3-bedroom-plus home very close to the Beavers Bend State Park. It is tucked back 2 miles into the woods from the main road and is quiet and peaceful with an amazing lake view from the back balcony. The house is spacious and comfortable and the three king-sized beds are a big plus for us and our adult children and spouses. The ground level had a ping-pong table and video game and 4 other beds that we didn’t even use. We had one small dog with us and were thankful that he was allowed. The house is very well supplied including pool towels for the hot tub which we enjoyed. It was a treat to stay there with our family. We’d love to stay there again!
