Quiet Sunny South Facing Lodge, Private Decking with Great views & Car Parking

"Lovely balcony overlooking the hills, with table & chairs. The road up to the chalet is a little narrow but compared to all the narrow roads in and around north Devon I expect it is nothing out of the ordinary for the locals. We met a couple of other vehicles where the other people reversed up for us. The beach is a little walk but well worth it. We went swimming every day and there are lovely cafes & shops. Chalet was very comfortable and would stay again."

"plenty of parking, room was very smart and clean furniture was lovely, iron and iron board was on the landing out side if needed and a room fan... extra teas and coffees. breakfast was good. except mushroom had been cooked with herbs and tomatoes could been cooked long. other than that all good throughout"

"I originally stayed at this B&B about 20 years ago while walking the coastal path, & decided to return as the village was in an ideal place for our touring holiday. The steep driveway & smallish space made for tricky parking with a large car, but doable. Our room was clean & comfortable, if a little dated in style. The owners were welcoming & helpful. Breakfast the next morning set us up for the day. We had a meal in the pub near the beach, & took a stroll around the village."

"Lovely cottage set away from the main road so it’s incredibly peaceful and beautiful views over the hills when sitting outside. Everything you need is catered for including a good selection of dvd’s and books both for kids and adults for quiet evenings in. Short walk to a local shop and a bar/restaurant but worth noting the cottage is up a steep-ish hill. Great location short drive to a couple of beaches and the hosts were very quick to respond. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"This property is as described and very attractively designed, in a beautiful setting with incredible views. The management company is very responsive. The hot tub is clean and a lovely way to end the day. However, there are a few things to be aware of that aren't as clear from the listing. First, the neighboring rental is just next door and while their is no noise as the buildings are separate, it can accommodate 14 people so many other people and cars may be walking by your windows to go to/from the carpark and padel court if it is occupied. The hot tub is next to the carpark and there is no privacy from the parking area to the hot tub or deck, and there are no curtains on the windows. Second, if you plan to cook at this property you may wish to bring your own cookware. Cookware is very limited; only two pots that had matching lids, and no skillets, sheet pans or baking dishes of any kind. The stairs are quite steep/tall but not atypical for Europe."
