「Exceptional quality for the price point - I'd expect to pay a lot more for the quality of the accommodation and the outstanding service from the staff. They were attentive, helpful and very friendly and made me feel welcome. Mack (I assume he was the duty manager) went above and beyond and couldn't have been more helpful. What a wonderful place to stay - would highly recommend it. 」

「Bridges B&B run by a lovely couple in a lovely house renting a lovely room had a lovely take away pizza delivered to the lovely local pub then back to my lovely room where I slept soundly in a lovely bed then a lovely shower and in the morning a lovely breakfast it was all just... lovely 」

「The staff was lovely and very helpful. The breakfast menu and options were delightful and delicious. My husband recommends the Smoke trout and eggs. we loved the authenticity of our experience. The location was fantastic It was a very short walk to the ocean and we thoroughly enjoyed all the lovely people and their beautiful dogs. Very dog friendly town. 」

「room was very clean and modern. the only downside was it was a bit dark could do with mirror being near window . breakfast was ok not worth the flat rate we were charged tho. better value eating else where. evening meal was great lots of choice and portions huge. staff were very friendly and helpful. loads of parking spaces for being a large and busy hotel. lovely swimming pool.would definitely stay again」

「This hotel was absolutely terrible the whole hotel as soon as you walked in smelt damp & mold carpets were dirty had to shout to find someone who appeared to be painting this was after 5pm went to have a look at our twin room which was supposed to be refurbished kettle was filthy never been cleaned I don’t think wires all over the place coming from tv & wardrobe was a joke a few hangers in a corner near tv. would not recommend this hotel so please anyone do NOT stay at the schooner in fact all...

「Everything and all the staff were really great except for The Linden Tree Pub. Absolutely dire meal there. Would advise giving that a big miss. The Angler's Arms at Weldon Bridge is absolutely fab for evening meal. We all agreed best meal out ever. Breakfast at Linden Hall Restaurant was great too.」

「Lovely place. My 70th birthday with my family including children & babies. It was perfect for everyone. Nice area, muddy walk into the woods. 5 minutes into Morpeth which was looking lovely with Christmas lights」

「Cheap & basics clean, toilet, basin, bath & bedding were immaculate, however the building & decor is very worn & tired, double glazing in room & ensuite were blown, mould around sealant around the bathroom window, walls had a lot of dirty marks & knob on wardrobe door was really marked. Beside all that quiet comfortable room, good for the money.」

「Absolutely amazing staff, went above and beyond. When my car wouldn’t start they purchased jump leads to get me started, and ensured I got back on the road asap. Shelley bent over backwards and couldn’t be more helpful. I would highly recommend staying at The Waterford. Top marks, 10 of of 10.」
