room clean and fresh. only worry is the bathroom, when sitting on toilet the sink is almost on your knees. Staff in bar are very good, the breakfast is very good big portions keep you going all day, the waiter asks what would you like and it is brought freshly cooked and delivered to you.

Lovely welcome and quick check in. Room was very comfortable with everything we needed for our stay. We had dinner in the restaurant which had a good variety reasonably priced meals and drinks. We opted not to have breakfast in the hotel as we thought this was a little expensive at £15 -£20 per person. Overall an enjoyable stay.

Amazing hotel

Such a lovely hotel, my room was massive and the bed was very comfortable! The staff were amazing too! Would definitely recommend and also look forward to staying here again next time I visit.

Portland Hotel

Very nice hotel with large bar/eating areas. Friendly atmosphere and staff. Room was great. Not much around in walking distance, but we were just passing through, so that was fine.

Clean, tidy and comfy

Second time in staying. Lovely quiet room. Comfy bed, plenty of room to move around the room. Bathroom was a little worn, but clean and certainly did not affect the visit. First time we have had food when staying there, and it did not disappoint. Huge portions and tasty. There was live entertainment on the evening we arrived and it was really easy listening whilst eating our food.
