We were a large family staying here and very disappointed. The pictures shown here are a dishonest representation of the property. You will not be staying at a property that looks like these pictures and you will not have a contact who is interested in helping.
The spa is unable to be used, we were told that it only happened the morning we arrived, but it was evident from the state of the sign on it that it has been like that for quite some time. There was water coming out of the power point near it so can't be used for anything else. There is no clothesline as shown in the pictures. (and no clothes dryer so a big problem when you have a lot of people there for a week) It's dumped down the side of the shed with a pile of other rubble - along with a pile of steel reo outside the laundry door.
The pool has an out-dated resuscitation sign and the pump does not come on enough to keep it properly clean.
There is no lovely green lawn as the pictures show. This is where the pool is so there is only a small grassed area that was overgrown. The grass was long everywhere and very untidy. We asked for this to be mowed so it could be used but the person who is your contact is not the owner and is not interested in resolving any issues you have there.
When we arrived the bins were full and the council truck not coming for another 4 days. We were advised they could do nothing about it and we could take it to a local refuse centre (we were to be charged $90 to do this!!!!) When paying to stay somewhere, we expect to have bins we can use.
The outdoor patio area has an area which has sunken and they have just placed a large piece of carpet over it. This does not stop people tripping due to the very uneven surface and is very dangerous. I was told they never knew about this - but they have covered it up!!
The power trips regularly in the house when the pool pump comes on as the whole of the downstairs living is on one power circuit, including the pool pump. Any electrician would know this is not suitable for a house this size.
The light bulb over the stair case was blown, we were told this had also just happened. This made the stairs very dark and it cant be changed without a ladder due to its position but were told they couldn't come and change it.
The basketball hoop is hanging off the shed in a broken state, unable to be used.
The owner is clearly not prepared to spend money on the property but will be happy to take yours.
