When we arrived the unit had no electricity and no heat. We contacted the host. She said she would pass along the message but didn’t know when they could get there. We investigated and found the vent hood shorted out almost caught fire and tripped the main breaker at the meter. We unplugged the vent hood and got permission to flip the breaker at the meter. It took until about 2am to get the unit warm. I’m traveling with 3 elderly parents of 70 and a child. None of the TVs worked. We finally found they had all been disconnected from the cable box. We finally got them connected and none of the remotes had working batteries. There were no extra batteries as promised. There was not a parking pass. I was in constant contact with the property management company (host), Summit Vacations, at a minimum of two times daily. They couldn’t or wouldn’t resolve any issues. We received bright orange tow stickers on our vehicle as a result of no parking passes. I asked if I could pick up the parking pass somewhere so we wouldn’t get towed. No response to where I could get one. If you contact the host you go to a nation wide call center. They can not help you with anything. To say this was a horrible and stressful trip would be an understatement. I would not suggest this unit or any other unit managed by Summit Vacations as they are horrible. The unit needs maintenance and is somewhat like a frat house set up in the loft. There are 4 beds and it is useful if you are 3” and under.
