"We were not informed in advance that there would be no reception staff available when we arrived at the property. As a result, we struggled to complete the check-in process using the self-service machine. Unfortunately, there was a very unpleasant smell throughout both the room and the bathroom, which made our stay uncomfortable. The odor was persistent and difficult to tolerate. In addition, we noticed that the bathroom exhaust fan vents had been blocked with tissues, and we were unsure why this had been done. Overall, our experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication, difficulties with check-in, and poor room conditions. For these reasons, I would not recommend this hotel to others."

"The pictures posted are deceiving. They showed actual beds and we found an old sofa bed, extremely uncomfortable. The receptionist was extremely rude and unprofessional when I asked about the bed. She basically stated I could leave if not happy. They had my money already. Bad mouthed Expedia as well, The safe was locked and they just said they couldn’t do anything to open it for our use. We encountered rats around main entrance, at night when coming back to the hotel. When asked for manager, it looked like she never works. Never available during our five nights: stay. I would not recommend at all. Big disappointment."

"Stayed 3 nights at Ibis Hotel in Paris and honestly had a really good experience. The place was unexpectedly very clean, the room was spacious, and housekeeping came every day with fresh clean towels. The staff were very friendly, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The hotel felt very secure, quiet, and peaceful with no noise at all. One of my favourite things was the view from the window — I could even see the Eiffel Tower from my room, even though it was a bit distant. The room also had a TV and air conditioning, which was a lifesaver during the heatwave in Paris. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a comfortable and affordable place in Paris."
