「Clean room, helpful staff. Good breakfast options」

「This is the 2nd time I’ve stayed here, can’t fault it at all, Rooms clean and cleaned every day, bar and food in pub and pizza place attached very good. I had duck tacos and sweet potato fries twice that’s how good they were. Pizza was also good and very filling. Plenty of car parking, all staff were lovely and helpful.」

「I have stayed various hotels in Newcastle, but the Malmaison was one of the best hotel in the city. I recommend to all who is visiting Newcastle.」

「Well situated to train station, Eldon Square shopping centre, Grainger Market, Bigg Market’s bars and some nice restaurants a few minutes walk away. Room was decent although paint was peeling off the bathroom wall and some mould in the shower, so definitely needs a room refresh.」

「The room was cold as the heating didn't work well. There was also no hot water in the shower. Despite requesting improvement, nothing was done. The room was clean and well-maintained, the housekeeping service was very good, and the breakfast was tasty.」

「Reception staff wasn't kind. I felt it was arrogant. I began to wonder if it was because I am Asian. Just one person...not everyone. The area was surrounded by major roads, which made it difficult to get around without a car.」

「Ample parking. Amazing breakfast. Great views」
