Bunk House PROS: The living room is very open and spacious, there are 2 tables to eat at, there were enough beds for the 9 people in our party, the location to attractions is great, they set up a Xmas tree and outdoor holiday decorations which was amazing since we were staying there for Xmas, the staff at the resort are very nice and tried to accommodate all of the issues we had (Teresa and Crystal). Bunk House CONS: The house itself is run down and not well kept, there is mold in the main shower and we couldn't use the second bedroom shower because it would flooded the floor, the air does not work in the front bunk room so it was like a sauna, the oven did not work properly so it took 4 hours to cook our 30 min meals, the hot tub did not work and it looks like it hasn't worked for a very long time, the gym equipment does not work and the staff knows about it, there are not enough towels and silverware to accommodate a large party. Barb did not tell us she overbooked our stay, even though she knew for a month. She then lied to the staff and said we were ok with staying in a condo until the current tenets left the bunk house. I tried to reach Barb about this and she refused to contact me, even after I complained to VRBO. After we checked out I had to track her down in person and confront her about my issues. Overall, our stay was full of problems and lead to unnecessary stress. I would not stay here again.
