「Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.」

「Nice quaint little motel and restaurant. Like a lot of things on the area the building is very old. Room and bathroom were small but worked perfect! Restaurant and bar on site was a bonus as food and drink were very good! I would definitely stay there again!」

The inn-keeper Dana was so kind and gave ideas for activities in the area and helped me get to my wedding when we had no ideas on how to get there. The whole experience was so personable, and I loved the shared space with a chess board, games, tea, and coffee!」
