I’ve never stayed in a hotel before where are you didn’t get a key we got told we would get the key in a couple of hours and every time we went out we had to ask for the door to be open never would stay here again

Nothing wrong with the hotel but the chap in the next door room was bellowing down his phone until well after midnight, so be careful if you get a room with an adjoining door.

The bed was amazing and comfortable, Great Location and view, but in need of a major update. You can see it’s age creeping up on the hotel. Was ok for the price. Wouldn’t stay again for that price point.

A hairy experience!

Booked two rooms for the weekend and on arrival into my room could not understand the 4* rating. A basic 3* at best. Tv only about 5 channels. Bathroom very dated. The following night my daughter arrived with her mother and hotel could not find reservation having verbally confirmed when I arrived the day before but after a few minutes a room became available. On entering their room and the bathroom they were greeted with the image below on the shower wall! Did not eat at the hotel but a good Chinese buffet a few door down!

It was hot and with no AC in the room, it was difficult to sleep. Room was very small and my room was towards the street. Opening the window to cool down the room was not practical.

started badly when the room we had booked not available The only double room available was a disabled room really not what was required but no choice Bathroom far from clean and no actual wardrobe Not the best of stays

Excellent

I always love staying at this hotel. Staff are lovely and lovely bedrooms and the best beds. The only thing i dislike is the cleaner coming in at 8.30am when checkout is 12pm. Unless you leave the do not disturb notice out. Generally a very nice, quiet hotel within walking distance of local amenities.

The room was clean and staff were friendly, BUT we were put in a room with a city view which was nice to see, unfortunately the main road was directly in front of the hotel aswell, the traffic was constantly busy all night and we did'nt get a wink of sleep! we were very dissapointed because we had to be up very early next morning to catch a coach to go to London for the weekend and needless to say we were very tired and it spoiled our day, we did tell the person on reception the next morning and they just said they were sorry, I dont think i'll be using that hotel again but if you're a heavy sleeper and can sleep through heavy traffic all night then I would recommend but if you value your sleep try to make sure you get a room not facing the main road.
