Surf Road Cottage Unit 1 - at the beach

A rare opportunity to be just seconds to the beach! East of A1A bordering prestigious Gulfstream in the laid back Palm Beach "county pocket" just minutes from Delray Beach. This is a real "Old Florida" beach duplex cottage with yard, private off street parking and walkable beach access to one of the least-visited beaches in South Florida.

1 bedroom / 1 bath cottage with approx. 650 square feet. Fully furnished living room, with queen sleeper sofa, dining area, bedroom with king-sized bed. Old Florida charm with central AC/heat, ceiling fans in all rooms, Saltillo tile floors throughout. Full kitchen with all appliances, including dishwasher, blender, coffee maker, pots and pans and much more. Shared laundry room (with Unit 2 of duplex) with washer and dryer, laundry soap provided. Large tiled walk-in shower in newly remodeled bathroom.

Plenty of outdoor space to enjoy dinner with the family after a long day at the beach, or have a quiet cup of coffee relaxing in a chaise. The cottage offers covered patios, propane BBQ grill, secluded back yard, private hot/cold outdoor shower and private off street parking for 2 cars.

The cottage is nestled between Ocean Ridge and Gulfstream in a very unique and quiet unincorporated beachfront community. If you want a quiet beach getaway while you relax this is the place for you! For nightlife and shopping Delray’s Atlantic Ave. is just 5 minutes away. For commuting I-95 at Woolbright can be accessed in 5 minutes.

We offer high speed wifi and AT&T U-verse cable with hundreds of channels. There are flat screen TVs in the bedroom and living room.

For beach play days we provide beach chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, coolers, sand toys, masks/fins/snorkels, floats and life vests for the kids. We also have 2 paddle boards shared between the two units that are available on request.

We loved staying here and hope to again the future! The host was so friendly and the place had truly everything we could ever want or need. Walking to the beach made it all so easy with a toddler as well. Beautiful stay!

Completely enchanted

Charming unit in Florida style bungalow in low key, established community with the true old Florida vibe. Very clean and very comfortably furnished and supplied. Half a block to beach, and used the beach cruisers to explore the surroundings, which are secluded from the more denser beach areas.

This cottage is so cozy and quaint. We loved it! Our family of 4 stayed comfortably. The property is immaculate. The outdoor space is fantastic and a little slice of heaven with its calm vibe. Grocery shopping and amenities are a short drive away. The beach is SO close! It's a very short walk away. The owners, Jo and Jay, are also wonderful people. We highly recommend and will be back!

My family (me, husband, two teenagers) really enjoyed our stay at this property. The neighborhood is cute, and the location is perfect. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the owners had everything you can think of for the beach. The beach wasn't very crowded, and there is a private beach and a public beach with a life guard right next to each other. I would highly recommend!

This little cottage is stocked with everything you could possibly need to use while you’re here. It’s immaculately clean! And it’s located in a little piece of paradise! We loved our stay at this adorable cottage. Every detail you can think of is available to you: tons of towels, great beach toys and chairs, well thought out layout, w/d, lots of outdoor seating options, fantastic outdoor shower, and beach bikes. Cozy getaway

Unit was very clean and well-appointed. Bed and pillows were super comfy and the property/neighborhood was very quiet while I was there. There are lots of outdoor spaces for relaxing (small table out front, chairs by the side, and backyard area with tables and loungers). Bathroom is a bit small and has limited counter space, but there is a space with a mirror to do makeup in the bedroom. Great for a solo trip or a couple.

Perfect in Every Way

This Cottage is perfect, Jay and Jo have thought of everything. Pristine clean, charming, location cannot be beat. It was about a minute to the beach. They supply all you need for a fabulous relaxing stay. From beach chairs and bikes to luxurious towels and a great outdoor shower, they have it all right there. We never used the indoor shower although it looks brand new and lovely. Backyard is so pretty for meals and lounging. Laundry was super helpful. We will be back!

Such a great time.

The perfect place to go when you need a get away. The house was clean, had such a cool beach vibe, and felt homey too. Jo & her husband treated us like family. They gave me a ride home on their golf cart after seeing me walking back from the local store. They were just so accommodating. Family beach trip

Everything about this property is top notch. A less than two minute walk to a beautiful beach. Very quiet and relaxing area. Quick access to many restaurants. This has to be the most well equipped rental we’ve stayed in. They’ve truly thought of everything. And if you need anything Jay and Jo are just a quick text or walk away. The outdoor shower is a true gem! After a long hot day at the beach, that shower is so refreshing. We would definitely stay here again.

A hidden gem with all that you need and more.

What a unique find. The access to the beach is truly steps (I went back and forth many times with ease after forgetting items), there is a great road to walk along the beach, a great little Deli for sandwiches, ample room to cook and hang out, and a very fully stocked kitchen. Anything you need, the hosts will seek to accommodate. I could go on, but really it was a perfect stay and we already miss it!
