"The hotel is in a nice location in Keswick. The breakfast was great. Enough to fill you up and tasty. Bedroom was comfortable. We didn’t use the bar area so can’t comment on that. The hotel was nice and clean although slightly tired looking. The car park is small and we unfortunately got blocked in which meant that we had to cancel plans that we had. We did eventually get out and then parked our car on local roads as couldn’t risk not being able to get out. All in all a great stay."

"Stayed with my son overnight on our trip to climb Helwellyn. Did the climb prior to checking in, as check in was from 3pm. Asked in advance if we could use the car park upon our arrival in the morning & it was no problem. Once we checked in, the room was good with a modern ensuite, ironing board, hair-dryer and coffee facilities. All the staff were friendly with a nicely stocked bar and it was fine to book a table for our evening meal. The menu had a good choice of meat and vegetarian options. We had the burger and the homemade steak pudding, which were both filling and tasty. Just what we needed after a strenuous day climbing. Decent night's sleep, a bit of traffic noise but it is the main route throught the centre of the Lake District, so not unexpected. We left early, so didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. Would we return? Yes."

"Had a fantastic stay at Brandlehow. The location is unbeatable, with stunning views over Derwentwater and direct access to the lake. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing family break. We especially loved spending time in the garden taking in the incredible scenery. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Lake District."
