「Average room with nice extras like a local bar of soap and short bread cookies. Restaurant with two or three course meals and allowance for just starters. Full breakfast included in our reservation was adequate. The carpet and couch seemed old and soiled but overall it was a comfortable stay.」

The restaurant (reservation needed) was very nice, the lounge was comfortable and the drinks were excellent. 「The only thing good about this place is the breakfast was decent. The ladies served the meal were very nice and welcoming. Be prepared to drive thru a super long pothole-filled single road and finally arrived with nothing to eat, no where to eat, and the reception staff offered no help and couldn’t care less. Unfortunate, this was not a place that meets the Scottish hospitality standard. Will not return.」

「Atholl house was one of our most favorite stays during our 14 day adventure. From check in to check out we felt so at home and cared for. It is a place you can truly kick back and relax like you are at home. So many thoughtful details have been put into place to make sure you have a comfortable stay.
