a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.

I have written to the hotel to share my disappointment with the beds in our room. Both were very uncomfortable with worn mattresses. Given the high price of the room over the weekend I would at least expect a good night's sleep.
