Absolutey stunning property with a gorgeous view of Uïg, the breakfast included was delicious and served by a very attentive and kind staff. If staying on the Isle of Skye I could not recommend a better place.

Lovely B&B overlooking the bay outside Uig

Spent a comfortable 2 nights at this beautiful cottage overlooking the bay outside Uig. Easy to find (marked on Google Maps) and spacious layout. Self check in was a very simple process. Breakfast is at the Uig Hotel on the main road (5 min drive, 20 min walk) with its friendly staff and tasty hot options alongside standard cold buffet items.

The room within the cottage was clean, comfortable and provided all that was needed. There was ample storage for belongings and the view was amazing. It was good to watch the Ferry arriving and departing from the pier. All in all excellent and would certainly recommend this accommodation.

This was a LOVELY property and the owners are so kind. The view alone is worth booking for. Their restaurant (at the hotel) serves delicious dinner as well and is a short walk away.

This property is right on water so there is beautiful view, comfortable beds, and breakfast is awesome at the Uig Hotel. Staff are very friendly and helpful and shared information about fun local places to visit.

The property is right by the ocean, and it's breathtakingly beautiful. The staff is prompt and friendly. They provide free breakfast which was one of the best we had in Scotland. Dinner at the hotel, is something I would highly recommend. Recommending this place to all of my friends and family who want to go to Skye.

Perfect two day stay. Bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The view from our room was amazing. Breakfast and dinner at the Uig Hotel was a bit of a walk but achievable.

Beautiful place to stay. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean and quiet, the location is beautiful, with a stunning view in the bay Breakfast is at the nearby hotel, a 10 mins refreshing walk, which is totally worth it, as the hotel serves a very good breakfast cooked to order. The facility is self check in, the indications provided were clear and easy to follow. We had no issues. We really enjoyed our stay and would totally recommend it.

Beautiful and peaceful place

This was a beautiful spot with a beautiful view of the lake. Awesome breakfast included. We would absolutely stay again. If I had only one complaint is that the walls are thin with the other room next door otherwise it was perfect!

Old Pier sunshine break

Stayed at the Old Pier B&B, Uig, for 4 nights whilst touring the island with a pal. Uig Hotel provided a fantastic breakfast every morning, and a pack-breakfast for our final morning, due to red-eye departure. Room was perfect for our needs, and a great base for our stay. Landlord was very welcoming, friendly, and helpful whenever required. View over the bay was gorgeous, assisted by the great weather during our stay. I’d recommend staying there to anyone looking for accommodation, and will return again when the time is right.

This property was one of the highlights of a wonderful two week driving trip around Scotland. It is located on a beautiful bay that faces west with otters and herons. The sunsets were spectacular. The town of Uig is well-located for highlights of sky like the Fairy Glen, the Quiriang, and Old Man of Storr. Comfortable bed, nice shower, delicious breakfasts at the nearby Uig Hotel.

What a fantastic place, right on the waterfront looking out to Uig harbour. Very quiet, lovely spotless room with fantastic views, fridge in the room was a bonus. The cottage owners also own the Uig hotel where excellent choice of breakfast was included. We also had dinner in the hotel which was exceptional, they must have a great chef. So lucky to have found this place. Great location to explore Skye.

Lovely view from our window, modern bathroom/toilet, full hot breakfast included from the hotel up the road, very close to the Fairy Glen which meant we visited at twilight which was magical - we were the only ones there, other than the sheep, which was a completely different experience than when it is covered in tourists. Close to the ferry to Lewis and Harris

The Old Pier Cottage is beautifully located right on the water. Stunning views from your windows. Breakfast included at the Uig hotel was delicious. We ate our dinners here as well. Our room was very clean and comfortable. A perfect place to stay for a few days in Skye.

Old Pier Cottage with Billy and Anne was the perfect stay! A warm and welcoming space located in the heart of Uig. A beautiful 5 star location. Views were incredible at all times. A lovely little cottage on Uig Bay owned by the hoteliers of the Uig Hotel. A wonderful breakfast was included at the hotel a 10-15 minute walk away. Our room had an ensuite and a beautiful view of the bay. Parking was easily accessible. Information on dining, historic places, hikes, pubs, etc. was readily available from the hotel staff. Service & staff were exceptional. If there was ever a place to get lost & press the reset button, the Isle of Skye was it for us! Enchanting.

An absolutely amazing property. You can’t get a better location with uninterrupted views across Uig. The hosts are very helpful and happy to provide ideas for day trips for your stay, and available to answer any questions you may have. The room was amazing, very cleaning, functional, and spacious. The large bathroom was beautiful and clean and had a great shower. Parking is available on site and there is a a beautiful area to sit outside and view the harbour and watch the sunset. It was so quiet and peaceful. We had the included breakfast at the hotel each morning where a great selection was provided and the food was amazing, the staff were helpful, service was great and they were always friendly. We would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend The Old Pier Cottage. We hope to return again one day. Thank you for a great stay.

I have nothing but positive things to say about our 3-night stay at the Old Pier Cottage. This was hands down the highlight of our trip. The cottage is spacious and comfortable. It is impeccably clean. The HUGE bathroom with heated floor and tiled shower was a nice surprise (we’re American so we love a spacious bathroom!) Billy and Anne are your hosts. They live on site and also manage the Uig hotel, where we had our delicious breakfast each morning. The staff there is lovely and accommodating. Obviously you don’t come to Skye to sit in your room but we found sitting at our table and watching the Caledeon MacBrayne ferry boat pull in and out of the pier a very relaxing way to pass the time. We found Old Pier’s location good for the things we wanted to see on Skye. The Fairy Glenn is an 8 minute drive from the cottage and when you go at sunset, you have the place to yourself. We are grateful for our stay here. Thank you Billy for being so welcoming and accommodating!
