"The Black dog offers affordable accommodation. An excellent restaurant, friendly bar service and comfy beds. Unfortunately the room wasnt cleaned properly with my bathroom bin full from the previous occupier, bottle tops in the corner and a loo that hadnt been clean with a broken seat. Its these little things that make a good score."

"Relaxing stay and many facilities such as shower, kitchen and living room included. Plenty of space is also available. Will stay again. "

"Fantastic stay with Barry, Barry was very helpful, friendly, accommodating and showed us everything we needed. The annexe was exceptionally clean, bed was very comfortable, also a great range of breakfast options which we were not expected so a lovely bonus to the stay. The property is not far from the train station and is in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. "The staff and service at the guesthouse was very accommodating. My room was a nice size. It was clean, but I cleaned it more to my liking. One thing that was bothersome was, the other guests weren't as courteous and therefore nights early mornings weren't so peaceful. "
