"This place is excellent for a serene kind of vacation. Very quiet and beautiful grounds. You have to go down the stairs for beach access, but it’s nice to have peaceful walk in the morning. The only draw back is that it’s far from the hwy, and the road is only partially paved . Our resto crew esp Joy and Tere provides excellent service. The food is also delicious. Highly recommended for those who appreciates nature and wants a real relaxing vacation. "

"We loved staying at Donatela resort. It is comparatively remote and not as busy as other resorts in Panglao, it was quite and enjoyable. We traveled with our two toddlers and the kids were always welcomed! "The whole ambience of the eco camp is just so chilled. The pool is amazing and clean and wonderfully refreshing in the heat. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful, organising food for us to bbq and offering a moped for half an hour when we ran out of cash to go to the atm. If you have already done most of the tours in the island then there isn’t masses to do around Balilihan except the waterfalls and you need a scooter to get around. "Great place to stay on the Loboc river. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Plenty of activities to do fireflies tour is a must do. Scooter rentals at reasonable prices. Restaurants over looking the Loboc river serve excellent food. Whale shark swim 15 mins ride Loboc eco park 5 - 10 mins ride Ferry port 35 mins ride "

"The Ohana is a nice, small property very near the airport but with nothing around it, so it feels very isolated. The buildings and landscaping are lovely and the staff seem very proactive in maintaining the look of the property. The staff were very friendly and efficient. Because it is such a small property, all the staff seem very involved and do a number of jobs, which is nice. The rooms are good but a little bit basic.
