    Welcome to Above The Clouds, a premier 4-bedroom, 3.5-bath luxury retreat perched at the highest point of the ridge. Designed for large families and groups seeking both adventure and relaxation, this modern-rustic cabin offers breathtaking, long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from every level.

    - Cozy fireplace hearth. (NOTE: The fireplace is inactive(turned off) from May 1 - October 1 due to the warmer weather)

    Q: Can I park on the street?

    A: NO street parking whatsoever. You must park in the driveway. 4 car parking maximum.



    Q: What time is check-in and check-out?

    A: Check-in is after 5 PM local time, and check-out is no later than 11 AM local time to give our caretakers enough time to prepare the home for the next guest.



    Q: Do you allow pets?

    A: Our vacation rentals are pet-friendly. We allow up to two pets under 60 lbs each, with a $150 pet fee.



    Q: Where is the nearest hospital?

    A: The nearest hospital is Blue Ridge Medical Center, roughly 18 minutes away.



    Q: How are the road conditions in the winter?

    A: The local community maintains the roads so that they can be easily accessed with a 4-wheel-drive vehicle. We have also seen plenty of Honda Civics do just fine!



    Q: What type of security system do you have in place?

    A: We use smart locks that change codes with every guest who stays at our cabin. We also have security cameras on the grounds.

Stayed in this beautiful cabin 6 nights for my husbands birthday and it did not disappoint! We had plenty of room for 7 adults and 2 dogs. The fenced area was great for the dogs. All beds and bedding very comfortable. One thing I would suggest is to get to house during day the first time to see the lay of the road then returning day or not is fine.Bring a flashlight, you could loose power! The large deck is beautiful with plenty of seating. Pictures do not do this home justice. Can't wait to return!

We stayed here during fall and the view was incredible. We’ve stayed at this cabin for years and it never disappoints. Beds are comfortable and the fenced firpit area is great for letting the dog and kids run wild. We always are sad to leave. Beautiful property with top tier hosts!

Beautiful Cabin! Amazing Views!

We had a great stay at Above the Clouds cabin. The view is even better than the pictures and the cabin has everything you need. David was very responsive to the few questions that we had during our stay. The property is also very dog friendly, with lots of enclosed decks.

Great Getaway with Extraordinary View

Wonderful property! Beautifully equipped cabin minutes away from Blue Ridge activities! Very clean, responsive host, necessities available! Our family of nine enjoyed the cabin, the hot tub, hiking trails within short drivable distance, and the VIEW! I could have sat for hours and just enjoyed the serenity of being Above the Clouds! Perfect for a Fall Family Getaway!

The cabin was exactly as represented online. The owners were very communicative with all of our needs and questions both before our stay and after our arrival. Stunning Mountain views, great hot tub, fire pit, and fireplace. We didn’t watch TV for 4 days and it was so refreshing! Beds were very comfortable with high quality linens, which was much appreciated. Will be back!

Great cabin in great location with a great layout for a few couples. At least bedroom on each level was perfect for our party of 6. There are towels but no soap or shampoo or anything in the showers so know to bring that stuff. And kitchen is well equipped but no spices or oil just salt and pepper. Game room and hot tub are great additions. We would all book again

We loved our stay at this cabin. David provides great communication and even let us know a storm could be moving in and what we needed to know to keep us safe. The view is amazing. The bed is comfortable. There are so many fun games in the cabin. The little details like nice hand soap and cozy blankets was a nice touch. We also loved the fenced in area for our dog. It was a great stay and we would stay here again. Thank you for a fabulous stay!! games

Gorgeous views & relaxing times

Our family stayed for a week, to enjoy time together for my teen’s birthday. The house was all she had asked for & more! We relaxed in the hot tub, played pool ever day for hours, lazed & read (& napped by the fireplace. Enjoyed games & meals together at the big dining table with a stunning view of the mountains & valley. We were even treated to a meteor shower! The most relaxing getaway ever! Check-in @ out were a breeze. Management responded quickly & clearly to any questions we had. Such a joy!10 of 10 would recommend!

Breathtaking views

We came for my birthday weekend with my family (2 kids 2 adults). The photos really do not deceive, the views were incredible all three balconies! Yes three! The decor was beautiful and elegant but cozy cabin feel at the same time. Beds were comfy, hot tub was great and fenced in firepit area was clutch. Kids had plenty of entertainment in the basement with games and pool table and my husband and I enjoyed our coffee/wine on the porch. Only feedback would be maybe to provide starter toiletries for the bathroom and maybe some coffee for that first morning if you hadn’t made it to the store yet. All in all we loved it and would definitely return again!

Big Views!

The house is cozy with lots of entertainment room for everyone. We traveled with 6 adults, and had plenty of room to play cards, put together puzzles and watch t.v. The weather was in the single digits during our stay so we weren't able to do much outdoors :(. However, it was nice that we didn't have to be right on top of each other. the entire time We would love to return when the weather warms up to take advantage of the huge porch and amazing view!! Keep in mind, the road to the cabin is steep! My in-laws were unable to make it up one of the hills covered in ice/snow and had to leave their car at the church at the bottom of the ridge for the weekend.

Dream home. Clean! Just as pretty as the pictures online. Gorgeous location. Wonderful view. Private. Quiet. Lots of amenities and games. Premium furnishings. Whole house water filter. Generac for emergencies. Well stocked kitchen.. Nice premium bedding, shèets and towels. Responsive and courteous owners. The property is well cared for and loved. Great water pressure and hot water! Internet wifi was good. Nice floorplan. Enornous deck and ample outdoor seating. The drive up the mountain was a challenge. The road has eroded away in many places (dirt gravel road). Steep incline. We had 4x4 Expedition with Hill decent feature. We did okay in that, but i was glad my husband was driving and not me. The only con was the hot tub wasnt able to be used bc it needed to be cleaned. The owner tried.to help, and was responsive, but it didnt work out for us to enjoy it for our trip. They were grateful we let them know, and are working on getting it resolved. Lots of fun. Nearby kayaking, tubing, and hiking trails. We loved going to Toccoa Valley Campground for kayaking and tubing! A great place to get away and retreat. Highly recommend!
