This Gordon cabin is so bright and cheerful it will even keep you smiling through a thunderstorm. Its Americana theme celebrates the nostalgia of a bygone era, with charming antiques and collectibles throughout the cabin.
The colonial blue pine dine-in kitchen offers a lovely setting for starting the morning with some farm fresh eggs, juice, toast and honey while deciding how to spend the day — you'll 'bearly' believe how much there is to do here. Once you've chosen among all the activities in the North Georgia Mountains, you'll be off and running.
Go for an exhilarating horseback ride — whether you prefer a quick trot or a more leisurely pace, it's a wonderful way to take in the beautiful scenery surrounding you. Enjoy more spectacular views by going on a nice long hike through the mountain hills and trails.
After working up a bear's appetite, have a late lunch back at the cabin's outdoor picnic table. Then have an afternoon snooze in the recliner, warm and cozy by the rock gas fireplace. When you've awakened refreshed after your brief hibernation, play checkers on the screened-in porch as you witness a breathtaking sunset. Spend some time just relaxing on the porch swing while sipping a cup of tea or perhaps an Irish coffee.
Make an easy pasta dish for dinner or simply enjoy a platter of hearty antipasto with a glass of wine. Then settle in to the hot tub on the private open deck for a soothing soak at the end of the day. Here you've got the perfect front row seats for Fourth of July fireworks.
When nights are cool, stay warm inside playing board games or cards, or curl up next to your sweetheart and watch a thriller on the large flat screen TV with a full panoramic view of the stars outside your windows.
Retire to the quaint queen bedroom with its antique dresser and mirror, where you'll be greeted by the cabin's cuddly bear mascot. Snuggle into the comfy bed and sleep like a bear.

I wanted to get away for a few days and relax with an amazing view of the mountains and this cabin exceeded my expectations. The view is even better then the pictures. This will be a yearly thing for me now.
A view, a hot tub and a porch... what else do you need?
You could not get a more beautiful, relaxing place than this little cabin nestled literally into the edge of the mountain. The fact that it is also dog friendly is an added bonus! Thoughtfully decorated, with everything you would need, this is a perfect place for a getaway for 2. Take a hammock- you’ll be glad you did!

We came up to Blue Ridge for time relaxation. We found the cabin just as it wast posted. The view was incredible. The screen porch was nice for sitting out in the evening. The home was warm and cozy. Very clean and bed was comfortable. Everything we needed. Ideal for a couples getaway. Would stay again. Thank you
A clean cute little place with an amazing view. We were very happy with the place and experience. The listing photographs do not do this place justice.
Exactly what we we’re looking for to stay for a long weekend. Great mountain views and porch. Small place but had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. Cleaning service prior to our arrival could have been a little better, but not the end of the world.
As Floridians we really don’t see snow at all. We arrived on Dec 24 and we have a white beautiful Christmas. We enjoy a lot this cabin beautiful view. This place is awesome and communication with manager is great they response pretty quick. We fall in love with this place as well our 4 legs friend.
Lovely place. As advertized. Communication and instructions were excellent. T
Very good. Just be aware that the bed is a queen not a king. Not huge issue but we struggle on a queen.
Overall excellent cabin with all that you need. Would return.

It was just ok
The property isn't the same as the photo. The photos must be old. The house and porch aren't even the same color.
I called upon arrival because the one of the screens on the porch was busted out and the kitchen sink was leaking. The person that answered said, "yeah the cleaning staff reported that already" but she made no suggestion of solution. She just said, let us know if you need anything. My husband tacked the screen up as best he could and we wrapped a towel around the faucet.
The cabin is pet friendly which is great but the couch needs to be replaced because the dog smell was very strong. We used the extra sheets provided to cover the couch and the pillows on the couch so we could sit on it.
The view is absolutely gorgeous. The porch itself is lovely, however it was absolutely covered in pollen and dust so that we had to clean all the furniture before sitting on it.
The grill and the fireplace were in working condition and very nice.
If I had children I would not stay here. The drop from the patio is steep and its a low fence around it. Fine for adults but if I had a toddler it would give me anxiety.
I also wish the cabin had some sort of curtains that could be drawn over the windows at night. You feel very exposed surrounded by all the windows and no way to cover them.
The interior decor is also very old. The window coverings in the bedroom are tattered and fading.
The keypad on the door was functional but you have to get the door handle in the right position, while you enter the code to get the door to open and that caused some panic for a moment until we figured it out.
Bring your own hand soaps, coffee filters, etc. Dish washing soaps are provided.
The distance to Blue Ridge was listed as about 5 miles. That might be true "as a crow flies" but the driving distance there is about twice that and 20 mins.
For the price it was a pretty average stay and definitely better than a hotel, however I wouldn't say I was blown away by it.
