"Our 3rd time, cozy, well equiped small old cottage, seconds walk from to the sea front, a couple minutes from the nice Seagrass cafe. Ten minute walk up the road next to the river to the Chip shop, Chinese or Curry house which does very good indian food been 3 times. Walk up past the lights a few more minutes to a decent co,op or a bit futher and over the bridge to a old dog friendly pub with beer garden next to the river, nice few pints there lol oh and plenty free parking near the cottage plus...

"Beautiful cottage, spectacular scenery (when the weather is clear) Our weather wasn't great (storm Katherine!!) so low cloud obscured the view in the mornings. Gorgeous location, we met the hosts and they are lovely. Lots of places to visit. I have mobility issues otherwise a walk up on the hills would have been wonderful. Very well equipped and we would definitely come back."

"Myself, my husband and 7 year old daughter loved staying here. It is very cosy. Everything you need is here, the owners provide everything and more. Great location. Parking isn’t great but it didn’t bother us to park up the road a little and walk down. Overall brilliant cottage"

"The property is small but that is part of the charm. Only two of us and it was exactly what we wanted. Managed to cook a huge Christmas dinner and had some beautiful walks. Had a lovely relaxing break in beautiful surroundings."

"Another wonderful stay at out favourite place. The cottage is homely and comfortable with a fabulous garden for the dogs and a hot tub to relax in after a day on the beach or in the hills. Perfect location close to the centre of Fairbourne and the beach. Hosts are great at communicating and very welcoming. We'll be back again soon."

"We had a wonderful stay in this quaint little cottage. Even our grumpy teen who doesn’t like anyone or anything thoroughly enjoyed her stay and wants to return. The most beautiful views of Snowdon from the living room window. Homely little fire burning and keeping us all cosy. Just idyllic. My son also found Rosalie’s bird poem book and as a parrot owning family he had a good chuckle reading them. 100% we will be back."

"Rose cottage was a charming and comfortable place from which we could experience the highlights of the region. Sitting by the river on the outdoor patio was an amazing way to wind down from the many hikes around Beddgelert. The cottage was well equipped and proved to be a superb location. The only downside for us was the flooring. We encourage Elaine to consider replacing the carpet throughout with flooring that could better enhance the cottage’s charm and to ensure tidiness. "Lovely location with walks and views. Cottage is not heated and cold during shoulder season times. Ideal for a summer break."

"Where to start. The only positive comment is that the holiday park that the property is situated is lovely, with good facilities. If I was the owner of the park, I wouldn't allow this cottage to be associated with it. Now for the negatives. 1. Firstly the picture shown on the website is nothing like the property looks like and should be removed. Its an old terraced cottage. That needs a lot of TLC to the front and rear of the property. 2. "Spotlessly clean house with good amenities. Small and cosy. Host very welcoming and responsive. Beds very comfortable and good hot shower! Loads to do in the vicinity - even in the rain. Quirky garden is great."

"This cottage is in need of work. Very tired all round. Nice and quiet village, good base to tour the local area. A bit damp on arrival needs airing before guests arrive. In my opinion not worth the price of a 4star hotel. Which it is equivalent to. "
