「旧市街の外れにある小さなホテルです。一階にレストラン・バーがあります。古い建物を改造したホテルでエレベーターなどはありませんが、総じてスタッフの感じが良く、清潔感もあって、気持ち良く滞在できました。朝食にはFull Englishを選択しましたが（他にヴェジタリアン向けなどあり）、おいしかったです。」

「このホテルの建物はかはり古く、歴史的な意味があるのだと思いますが、メインテナンスが適切になされているとは言えないと思います。床にはデコボコがかなりあり、バスルームの床はビニールコーティングされていましたが、大きなヒビか1箇所以上ありました。バスタブも全体的に水垢がある状態でしたし、バスタブの蛇口からバスタブの底にかけて水漏れの跡なのか、何なのかわかりませんが、青いシミ？カビ？が枯れた滝の跡のようにバスタブにこびりついていました。窓の外も建物のバックヤードのようなひどい景色でしたので、外が明るくてもカーテンを閉めていました。 フロント担当の若い男性が親切で、チェックインとチェックアウト時に重い荷物を運ぶのを手伝ってくださったのが救いでした。 宿泊施設にはもう少し清潔感があるべきだと思いますので、あまりおすすめできる施設とは言えないとます。」

「Great little find here! Lovely pub with great atmosphere, food fab with onsite restaurant. The room was really well presented and lovely decor. My room was facing south and west on the hottest day of the year, thankfully the staff provided a fan and there was a well stocked fridge in the room too. Breakfast was continental style in the room in a lovely hamper, plus yogurts, milk and orange juice in the fridge. Would go back again when in the area. Thanks team.」

「The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. 「Some sort of food scattered on the floor freezing cold bedroom felt like we were in a refrigerated room. Rail on the stairs was not safe wobbled as you held onto it. Stuff were very pleasing when we arrived. Stayed for an hour and decided to move out to somewhere more suitable the same day.」
