"This was the worst and most disappointing experience I have had as a Hilton Honors member. I informed the staff that the room felt dirty, but they dismissed my concern. They told me that because I reported the issue more than an hour after check-in, they would need to take pictures and send them to the manager before doing anything. However, I had left the room only 10 minutes after arrival because the Wi-Fi was not working and I needed internet access. I did not use the room; I simply dropped off my suitcases and left. After a long trip from Mexico, I did not have the energy to deal with unnecessary complications and arguments with hotel management. Later that evening, after a long day of traveling, I went to bed and discovered hair underneath the bed covers. When I requested clean sheets, the staff brought them to my room and I have to change it myself. I paid $233 for one night only to sleep in a dirty room and bed. There was also excessive noise from people partying and drinking around the pool after 11:30 PM, making it impossible to get proper rest before continuing my trip the next day. I called the front desk to report the noise, but nothing was done. My trip had been perfect until I arrived at this hotel. This property completely ruined what had otherwise been a wonderful travel experience. This hotel should not be associated with the Hilton Honors brand. After more than 20 years of staying at Hilton Honors properties, I am shocked and extremely disappointed by"

"Needs a remodel real bad! Outside and inside is very dingy and dirty in some areas. The hallways and room itself had a strong piss smell. Curtains and lamp had stains on them. Pillows were hard. Paint peeling off the walls. But hey, I’ve seen much worse. Only needed the room for the night so it served its purpose. Probably won’t stay here again though."

"First thing we noticed when we arrived was how quickly the ladies at the front desk greeted us right away. The lobby was nice and clean. Our room was clean and well stocked as well. On our second day we utilized the pool and grill area, which was also very clean. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Excellent Airport Stay with Just One Minor Miss ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5 Stars) — Very Good The Highlights: Perfect Location: An absolute ideal spot for airport hoppers, international travelers, or anyone dealing with flight delays and cancellations at CLT. Fantastic Service: The "serve-with-a-smile" staff truly made a difference. Outstanding hospitality! Comfort & Cleanliness: Well-kept, clean rooms and an excellent, diverse breakfast spread to start the day. Room for Improvement: The only miss: Having a mini-fridge and a working microwave in the room would have made this a flawless 5-star experience. I hate food waste, and it was a shame to throw away perfectly good leftovers because I had no way to store or reheat them. The Verdict: If you need a reliable, comfortable, and welcoming place to rest your head before starting your Charlotte itinerary, this is a fantastic choice. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Staff at this place were friendly and courteous. The overhang for the entrance of this hotel was damaged and hanging so there was construction repairs going on to address it. This was an eyesore driving to the entrance. The luggage carrier was filthy and looked like it was never cleaned. This hotel looks like it can use some updating and detailed cleaning. There were no guests in the outdoor swimming pool and it was a hot sunny day. I guess it was not that clean. The room could use a deep cleaning. Old carpets but that is in every hotel we have stayed in. The toilet seat in the bathroom was so loose so I had to tighten the nuts in the back. The telephone didn't work at all with no dial tone. I had to call the front office on my cell phone and they said an engineer would come up to the room to check it. They never came up and I ended up bringing the phone down to the front desk. They finally fixed it by calling engineering. I'll make sure to avoid this place if I have to stay at Charlotte and look for another place."
