"Check in was easy and there was a variety for breakfast. Room was not spotless - there was a nickel on the floor as well as several items on the carpet, but parking was easy and it was a very convenient location."

"My wife and I are in our late 60s and enjoyed the property proximity to Mt Rushmore. The location was quiet and well kept. A few things were troubling. We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor but there are no elevators and the hotel buildings are located on hilly propertyaking it challenging to carry luggage up. The air conditioner was a bit loud and the shower was a bit weak. The free breakfast was good but when the coffee ran out, the staff seemed irritated and lackadasical in their response in brewing more even though they were far from closing down. Overall a 4 out of 5."

"Excellent location near most of the tourist attractions. Beautifully decorated guest house and it has a view of Mt Rushmore from the back deck which we loved. It was perfect for our stay! Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. It was somewhat remote which was nice after a day of exploration. It has a flight of stairs for access and the deck is high so it would not work for those with mobility issues or small children."
