"Our primary issue with hotel was families of young jockey players making noise until about midnight. People used the deadbolt to prevent their doors from closing, so people could come and go to the various parties and gatherings in rooms. Every time someone entered a room the door would slam and bounce several times. Impossible to sleep through it. I called the front desk for help, but they just couldn’t control it. I won’t go back. "

"Everything good, but would have liked more sustainability in breakfast - no plastic cutlery, recycling of yoghurt containers. With paper plates and containers, there should be very little garbage! Great effort in large containers of milk and ketchup in fridge. Good job overall. Great stay and would go back."

"I stayed here last summer and was pleasantly surprised by their dock and private beach. I stayed again with my wife when I came to North Bay on business in winter. The staff are pleasant to deal with and the rooms are adequate. I tend to stay at more expensive hotels, but found the price/quality tradeoff to be quite good here. I will be back in the future."

"Spent 5 nights with my 3 children, to get away to do some ice fishing before the season ended. The cottage was exactly as described, the winter scenery was beautiful, and the fishing was amazing. We caught pike, walleye, perch, and even a massive brown bullhead. Starry nights with a fire, deer and bald eagles, welcoming locals, amenities all within a 10-minute drive - it was perfect. Would love to stay in the summer sometime, to see the lake and landscapes in all their glory!"
