The space
Bear Mountain Chalet (ig @bearmountain_chalet), designed by Studio Lins (ig @studiolins_design), is a stunning retreat spanning three floors with breathtaking views of the mountains and national forest. It boasts 2000+ sq. ft. of indoor living with luxury decor, antique furniture pieces, name-brand appliances, and exquisite attention to detail.

The last house on a cul-de-sac road, it's just a few footsteps away from the trails, and Bear Mountain skiing is less than two minutes by car. It's the perfect mountain getaway for families or friends!

☆☆ BEDROOMS ☆☆
The three luxury bedrooms can accommodate up to nine guests comfortably. Spread out in the home, the rooms offer the peace and privacy you might expect on vacation.

The master suite on the ground floor is the largest bedroom in the house. It is complete with a Norwegian-style Jenny Lind Queen bed, a flat-screen "The Frame" TV, an electric fireplace, and a private bathroom. Two side-by-side windows offer unobstructed views of the wilderness outside.

The two other bedrooms are located on the middle floor. One bedroom boasts a gorgeous mid-century Queen bed and access to a private deck. A stylish 70-inch futon can also accommodate another guest (as long as they’re under 5’7!). There's a handcrafted desk if you need to catch up on some work. Fast WiFi is available. And when you want to decompress, the sliding barn door connects directly to the movie room.

The third bedroom is a bright and airy place to unwind, complete with a bunk with a twin bed on top and a full bed on the bottom.

Two and a half pristine bathrooms provide an elegant way to prepare for a busy day out or wind down from one. The two full bathrooms have showers with rain shower features, handcrafted wooden vanities, decorative wall mirrors, intricate tile work, and sleek glass and chrome finishes. The suite bathroom has a tub. The half bathroom is right off the main living area for easy access.

The gourmet kitchen combines both vintage design with modern gadgets to create a beautiful yet functional space. It is complete with granite countertops, sleek black appliances, open shelving, high ceilings, and custom cabinets.

Store your groceries in the full-size Smeg refrigerator and the bottom cabinets, use the gas Hallman stove to make delicious homemade meals from scratch or reheat leftovers in the microwave. You’ll find everything you need in this dreamy kitchen, including a coffee maker, toaster, blender, wine glasses, utensils, cups and plates, a gourmet knife set, a French press, assorted spices, and tableware.

This home has two separate living rooms, making it easy for larger groups to spread out and have plenty of space.

The first living room brings the Earthy colors of nature indoors and is accented with wood pieces and other nature-inspired decor. The leather coach is the focal point of the room and is accompanied by a plush area rug, concrete corner bench with plush cushions, wood-burning stove, and antique Ethiopian coffee table and chair. Sit back and relax or enjoy card and family board games. Sliding glass doors lead from this living room out to the deck.

The second living room, an eclectic mix of modern furniture and timeless design pieces, is perfect for movie nights thanks to the projector, cushy seating options, and a bio-ethanol Le Fleur fireplace. Just break out the popcorn and snacks. The sliding glass doors lead out to the deck and the hot tub means a fun night can continue.

The dining room has a handcrafted table for 10 people. The 20ft high-ceiling, a bio-ethanol Le Fleur fireplace, and the stunning views to nature makes it the perfect spot for gathering your family and friends.

Big Bear Lake is known for its endless natural beauty, and this home provides multiple outdoor spaces in which to enjoy it. The expansive decks overlook the trees, feature high-end lounge furniture, and are quiet and cozy to enjoy your morning coffee with a view.

After a day of hiking, come home to the bubbling 6-person hot tub, or spend the afternoon playing games on the outdoor dining table that overlooks the mountains. Sliding glass doors lead from every level out to these expansive outdoor spaces for easy access.
