This hotel is very centrally located, just a 2-minute-walk to the pedestrian zone and main shopping area in Bielefeld as well as on to the main museum Kunsthalle and several churches from the 16th and 17th century. The hotel is almost adjacent to the city's music theater, close to great dining options and only a 20 minute walk (uphill) to the medieval fortress Sparrenburg which is absolutely worth a visit and offers great views over Bielefeld and its surroundings.

Comfy bed

Rooms were quite basic , no kettle , 1 towel , but the bed was comfy and the bathroom floor heated . Trams on my side of the hotel were noisy , and no breakfast available due to ‘ sickness’

The room is clean & of good size. But we wish that they would provide for safe deposit box, coffee maker & small refrigerator. Or have free coffee in the lobby especially on a cold snowy day. The staff are cordial. The best asset of this hotel is the tram station which is just in front of it & the shopping center. Everything is just a few feet away.

Hotel was good. Service is quick. Location is in the middle of the city Center. Room is nice, but shower floor is a bit dirty. Negative point: Our key cards suddenly didn't work twice!! And we had to ask the receptionist for a new key. If you want to stay here, ask for a room that is far from the strassenbahn.

Waren hier 2x Mal als Zwischenstopp auf der Durchreise mit 2 Kindern. Super Familienzimmer. Alles modern, sauber und gepflegt. Parkgarage mit direktem Zugang zum Hotel und angemessenem Preis. Frühstück war sehr gut, reichhaltig und frisch. Service war super. Sind alles in Allem sehr zufrieden. Vielen Dank.

Wir waren für 4 Tage im Ibis-Hotel eingebucht. Bei uns entstand der Eindruck das man hier ausschließlich auf Gewinnmaximierung achtet. Nachdem an 2. Tag kein Zimmerservice stattfand beklagte ich bei der Rezeption. Man erklärte mir das man ein Green-Key Hotel sei. Meine Erwartung ist das in einem Hotel täglich der Service stattfindet außer ich verzichte ausdrücklich darauf. Und dann das Frühstück. 3-mal wurden wir am ersten Tag nach unserer Zimmernummer gefragt. Das war dem Personal auf jeden Fall wichtiger als verlassene Tische abzuräumen bzw. abgeräumte Tische neu einzudecken (Uhrzeit etwa 8.15 Uhr). Ständig waren die Brötchen leer, die Butter leer, Rührei leer, gekochte Eier leer, Bacon gab es während unserer 4 Tage gar nicht, die Kaffeemaschinen ausgefallen etc. Der Koch brachte das Fehlende immer mal wieder nach. Die Auswahl an Wurst und Käse war gelinde gesagt eine Katastrophe. Täglich die gleiche Auswahl. 2 Sorten Scheibenkäse, 1 gekochter Schinken, 1 Salami, 1 Brie. Hier sollte/muss sich grundlegend etwas ändern um Gäste die mehr als eine Übernachtung buchen zufriedenzustellen. Das Zimmer selbst war von der Ausstattung ok und sauber. Ein Safe und Kühlschrank wären wünschenswert. Selbst in unserem Zimmer im 4. Stock war am Wochenende bis gegen 1 Uhr nachts nicht an Schlaf zu denken. Lärmdämmende Fenster wären an der Straßenseite unbedingt nötig! Wir jedenfalls suchen uns für künftige Besuche in Bielefeld ein anderes Hotel

Bra och bekvämt hotell i centrum. Perfekt för övernattning en natt för er med gemomresa. Bra frukost. Sköna sängar. Trevlig personal. Gym. Hotellet ligger vid spårvagnarnas räls, så be gärna om ett tyst rum. Bra parkeringshus med hiss till hotellet 12 euro/ dygn.
