「Our stay at the Baymont was a disaster! Initially we were placed in a room that was adjacent to a service room that had ongoing noisy equipment, and needless to say, we weren’t going to get any sleep being in that room. We requested being moved to another room so that we could get some sleep after a long day driving on the road. By the next morning we had discovered room conditions that were shockingly disgusting. We asked the front desk if they could help make it right by moving us to another Hampton Inn, but they were unwilling to assist. 「because I registered for the room with an outside reservation company… I needed to repeat everything that was on the record, including giving an extra charge card for potential damages?… When I called to speak with the hotel, I went to some switchboard where this person knew absolutely nothing about what I was talking about very nice but not helpful. That's the problem when you have an answering service and not able to speak to specific hotels for specific questions.」
